We're really excited to announce the minting of 480 limited edition SideTracked Geocoins to help event owners, attendees and supporters to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the SideTracked series on Wednesday 10 August 2022.

We're giving SideTracked event owners and event attendees first dibs on these fantastic new coins - Information will be sent to every event owner in due course and information on purchasing for event attendees will be made available at events.

About the Coins...

Our 15th Anniversary geocoins features pivoting upper quadrant semaphore signals, just like the real one seen line side in the UK, although these are now sadly declining in favour of modern colour light signals.

On the front of the geocoin is a full colour countryside scene showing an old fashioned railway crossing gate, a signal box and LNER Class A4 4468 - Mallard, an iconic steam engine built in 1938 which holds the world speed record for the fastest steam train, clocking up 126mph!

To the rear of the coin, which is largely embossed in a coloured finish (see below for versions), HST unit number 253004 is appearing from a Wiltshire box tunnel, specifically the western portal designed by engineering genius Isambard Kingdom Brunel.  

The tracking number can be found on the rear of the semaphore signal arm.

The geocoin measures 63mm x 44mm x 4mm.

Each edition will cost just £11 each with £3 postage and packaging for 2nd class recorded delivery.

For each geocoin sold, a donation will be made to the Railway Children Charity who provide protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to.
